A case of mistaken identity
I get an email that’s in both English and French with a recipient list of about 20 people and think “meh – spam” and replied “UNSUBSCRIBE”
…. only to get an email from the sender a day later, realising it was someone I *did* know and that I had inadvertantly being an arsehole telling her I didn’t want to know about pictures of her baby boy…. Damn and Oops at the same time. A quick email was sent in apology. My first case of non-spam masquerading as spam but not really.
Christmas Pudding
I took great delight tonight in savouring some fine Christmas Pudding with a glass or two of red wine tonight. Might sound bizarre, but I have not had Christmas Pudding for almost 2 years now and I really fancied some.
…So why is it people (certainly in Chicago) say that you only give fruit type cakes to people you hate? Are they serious? What British person could resist Christmas cake? The deliciousness of a food that will finish you off after the xmas dinner with all the trimmings?
It really is a treat – and whilst I’m at it, who can resist Trinidad Black Cake? Want the recipe? It’s here –> http://www.inmamaskitchen.com/RECIPES/RECIPES/Desserts/Trinidadblackcake.html
